NOW ACCEPTING WORK
Natural born leader, self motivation to the rise. Hi, my name is Roxanne Alina, 22 years of age, born and raised in the real sunshine state, known as Arizona. I went to school for Psychology, and Linguistics. Unique, sarcastic, independent, free spirited, entrepreneur, humanitarian and a walking contradiction, words best suit my personality. As a child I aspired to be known. I began my career as a model when I was 18. Growing up talent scouts hassled my mother, she never allowed me to be sold on the market. Soon after my 18th birthday, I began to model...for myself. I posted self taken images on a model community website. I was amazed overnight I had over 30 emails! Not bad for a newbie. I was disappointed in reading through the emails, as more than half gave me the feeling that they were sent by unprofessional photographers who were looking for fresh young meat to eat, not the Next Top Model. This did not shatter my hopes. I am a goal getter, and when I set my mind on the prize, I don't just take the cake and eat it, I share it and sell it too. I make the most of life as it comes. I did not want to be the next top model, I had an ulterior motive. I thought modeling would give me great experience behind the scenes, for my real intention was to open a modeling agency. LIGHTS CAMARA SMILE I began with TFP shoots. If you are a model you know you can never be sure what you get out of TFP. I was fortunate enough to find myself with one good photographer Galen Evans. He boosted my confidence and assured me that not everyone in the field is a creep. After a few phenomenal sessions with Mr. Evans my portfolio was complete. I began to model professionally, and began to venture in other areas of the industry. I lent a helping hand to photographers during their shoots as a make-up artist, even for a movie short. When I posted myself as an all around JACKie of all trades, a new world came into the picture. I was asked to help produce a TV show that was in the works, it took me to California. The show never made it to air, our associates sold out. One has to be careful when going into business especially in this industry. I toned my aspirations down and returned home; there I worked as a spokesmodel for a company out of Switzerland, during the Tucson Gem and Mineral show. I also traveled to Switzerland for work in Basel World 06. Upon my return, I felt burnt out with the instability of modeling. I decided to be low key and leave modeling to the side. Being introduced to a new world of glamour, gems and jewels, my career took a turn, neither good nor bad. I began selling jewelry in tourist destinations such as Alaska, and the Virgin Islands. Aforementioned I am a walking contradiction. I quickly lost interest with the jewelry industry when I realized how much people get ripped off for a rock. TODAY Now I reside in St. Thomas, USVI. I have a few projects in the works. One is to again pursue my childhood vision of becoming known. I am willing to do what it takes.

Athletic (Muscular Definition, lifts weights or plays sports) Clothing style: Active Wear I have traveled a bit since the beginning of my career as a model. Being an independent contractor, I did not do the best in managing my portfolio. I have lost a good amount of my images with my travels so what I have left are only a few pictures I was able to save.
